Musical-comedian and craft-cocktail bartender turned writer-director, Danny Dalah is a Jewish Iraqi-Israeli American with Sicilian and Lithuanian roots. As a Middle-Eastern recovering gifted-kid, he throws genre-fusion, satire, and emotionally grounded characters into the creative shaker tin.
Most recently, he landed the role of Script Coordinator on the second season of Netflix’s XO, Kitty. Previously, Danny served as the Producer’s Assistant on Paramount’s iCarly, Awesomeness’ Little Wing, and Nickelodeon’s The Really Loud House. Additionally, he has written narrative for videogame companies such as Tic Toc Games.
His samples have garnered various accolades: his horror-comedy pilot Hellbeing Inc. was a Screencraft Comedy quarter-finalist, and his musical-fantasy-comedy pilot Rock the Boat was an Austin Film Festival quarter-finalist. Danny also recently wrote and directed a puppet-comedy-musical web-series that premiered on Channel 101 and gained distribution through Kold Open. His comedic works have been featured in The Jewish Journal, Shoutout LA, and Voyage LA.
